I installed WordPress today on my top domain, replacing the old static pages. I’ll keep my old blog (http://blog.eikke.com) running, to keep links to it working. I made some changes to my Apache configuration so the feed URI of my old blog now redirects to the feed of this new one. Updating the feed URI in your reader, PlanetPlanet configuration etc. could be a good thing though.

To avoid loosing linklove, pagerank credits and other Technorati points, you might consider make your old domain working on the new one’s url’s *also* and redirecting PERM.
Ie redirecting http://blog.eikke.com to http://eikke.com ?
